At the age of thirteen Kemal Onor suffered a massive life-changing stroke. He has overcome and persevered in his life. Told he would never walk, finish high school, or live on his own. Kemal has accomplished all these and more, going on to complete an MFA in Writing from the Solstice MFA in Creative Writing Program at Pine Manor College.

His short stories has been featured in numerous publications all listed on the "Publications" tab.

He speaks on topics of: Motivation, perseverance, overcoming adversity, and discovering and chasing ones dreams. He firmly believes in the greatness within everyone.
